America

America! (Or 'Murica for much of the nation.)

Republicans love America to their bone. They love America like they love their guns, their families, or states' rights. For a group of people who love America so much, they would much rather have their own individual states make all of the decision and leave that damn federal government out of it. It's out to get them. So while they are waving American flags through the air, they are really just saying "Yeehaw, Texas!" or "Roll Tide!"

But let's be honest, without the Republican patriotism, we wouldn't have that stellar defense against al-Qaeda or ISIS. We wouldn't have gone to war in Iraq. We wouldn't have had government shutdowns. We wouldn't have gone through a recession. We wouldn't have the Tea Party or Ted Cruz. Don't Tread On Me!

If Republicans really loved America as much as they say, "Murica!", maybe they would actually like other Americans. Maybe they would do what is best for society as a whole instead of what is best for the individual. Without unity amongst the nation, amongst all Americans, we are all in for a rough period ahead, Republicans and Democrats alike.
