The Apocalypse

The Apocalypse. Whichever apocalypse that decides to hit the world, Republicans are ready and willing to gear out and defend themselves and their families.

So which apocalypse do they predict will hit America in the next year? If you ask any Republican, they range from the scale of "somewhat likely" to "what fairy tale have you been reading recently". The "somewhat likely" side of the scale includes epidemics, natural disasters, and the potential for war on United States soil. On the other side of the scale, we have Republicans that are getting ready for the zombie apocalypse and the rapture.

The apocalypse that the Republican party should really be preparing for is the one that will destroy and uproot the GOP. While the Democrats aren't much better, the Republican party continues to be on the brink of destruction from the inside. With ultra-conservatives fighting with more moderate conservatives the odds that these two sides will work together in the near future are looking more and more slim.

So yeah, we're all pretty sure the apocalypse is coming. But it's not the one that you're thinking.
